Amuse Bouche is UVA's premiere longform improv comedy troupe, founded in 2007 by Saturday Night Live alumnus Sasheer Zamata. We are called "Amuse Bouche" because that was the word of the day on January 14, 2007!
Improv is a performing art where everything is improvised based on an initial prompt from the audience. Longform improv is a type of improv that prioritizes overarching plot lines, characters, and themes throughout a form's duration.
